One Day….I went to Toy shop, Where there are several kids asking their parents for different toys and suddenly….I found one kid (A Boy) who is desperately asking his parents for the Remote control car and then he finally got it….
You know….Every kid specially a Boy always having an interest in Remote control toys whether it is a Car or anything…..they just want to have that…..because they are so anxious about the gadgets, accessories….and every possible thing related to it also they always want racing cars.
So, keeping this factor in mind, I think about something fully assembled, cool and faster toys and then I finally thought of RC Toys, about which I’m going to write in this Article.
RC Toys also called Radio controlled Toys are fully designed by using Radio-controlled Model which is based on Radio Control Technology. All the vehicles, are designed to have Radio controlled Systems installed in them, Radio controlled system in models was first started in 1950s. It employs pulse width modulation (PWM), pulse position modulation (PPM) and more recently spread spectrum technology.
Now come to RC Toys, there are some vehicles, including RC Cars, RC Trucks, RC Boats, RC Planes and even RC Helicopter.
Toy grade RC means the vehicles which are so designed for children of the age 12 and up. These vehicles are RC electric Car, buggy or RC Truck; children can drive electric RC Car with full ease, but should be used under Adult supervision as far as maintenance is concerns.
Now, if we look at RC Cars then these cars are easier to drive on smoother surfaces like plane road or on the streets taking Electric RC Car in consideration. In these cars, battery is used which can be for 2-10 hrs depending on the how long you are using that car and also its capacity.
One can also go for RC Truck as well, if they want to drive it on the rough surfaces like grass, dirt and other rough surfaces it will give you the great fun to experience. These comes in toy grade Radio-controlled cars
Apart from this, to keep Hobby grade RC in mind, then I think about children, age group of 19 and above, We can also consider teenagers as well…they all have a trend of Racing, i.e., They all put their Remote control vehicles on the track where they can do the Car Racing. So, for them their introduced are some RC Nitro gas powered vehicles which are ideal for serious enthusiasts and requires more skills.
Let’s talk about Nitro RC Cars, these cars are eventually more expensive then electric cars, though it requires some field, and it is also little bigger in size than Electric RC Cars. Its scale size is more than 1:10 that of electric car.
It requires Nitro gas fuel up to 20-25% which is recommended. Nitro Cars can be refueled and then come back in Action. These cars are completely air-cooled and more durable because of stronger components. We can also call them RTR (i.e. Ready-to-run) fully assembled car. In short, Nitro cars or trucks are efficient for Race tracks, parks and also in open space.
That’s why RC Toys/Vehicles can be used by any one. It is not necessary whether you are child or an adult…Only matters is the Craze of driving beyond limits….

no man the hellfire is no were to a actula compittion truggy but HPI dose own hot bodies and there hpi’s compitive side
does anyone know if anyone runs hpi hellfires at revalations 1/8 truggy races? a friend wants to sell his cheap but if i cant race it anywhere then it would be no fun.
hotbodies lighting truggy. the pro costs 200 rolling chassis at ultimate hobbies or get the rtr its pretty cheap.
Does anyone know of a track like this in the uk? Please help
hahahah allen. that truggy is fast idk about ur statement.
nonexistent. all decent Trucks have a big tag.
Old RC toys is one thing. Old fashioned Ni Cd's is something else!! Scrap them… Ni Cads have improved so much over the years and are getting very cheap as MH's and others are taking their place. Harbor Freight Tools is selling 4 pack nikes in aa and aaa sizes for $2.95 for example. They even have 2000 mah MH's in 4 packs for $3.95.
The days of memory (due to the whiskers internally) with Ni Cads hasn't been a problem in several years. Any good quality charger with a led and current limiting resistor can be used with out worrying too much about over charging them. The old "run them all the way down" idea went out of vogue when Sanyo made the "screen core" break through and memory problems became a thing of the past in the mid 90's
unless u get a slash witch i got
I dont know where you are, so i'm just going to give you what I know in the United States.
Usually electric helicopters could be flown anywhere where there isn't a lot of people. I have a 400 sized helicopter which I fly at the park. Sometimes over people's heads, but im experienced enough to not crash it, and if there are mechanical problems, I could crash it into a spot AWAY from people. Because the cost of repairs would cost a lot less than a law suit to you.
Usually gas helicopters require you to be in a licensed airfield to be flown in because those could be deadly. But please note, any RC helicopter could be deadly. Even the ones made for children to play with. If it hits the eye, it could be the end of sight for any one person as we know it.
So to answer your questions:
yes, you could fly it in your home if youd like. Any damage done would be coming out of your pocket.
Yes, you could fly it in your friend's home. But please ask for their permission prior to doing so.
No, the freeway is not allowed. If you crash it on the freeway, a driver might hesitate and swerve out of control causing a massive collision, leading to an investigation which could lead to you, becoming a crime.
Yes, high altitudes. It must be lower than 500 feet, varying on the location you are at. If you are near the airport, you aren't allowed to fly it. You could fly it till you lose it. I'm actually not too sure on this, but I fly it high enough whereas its just like an ant on the table. Its about 500 feet.
The beach… Yes and no. How many people are there? You dont want to injure anyone.
Lakes, sure. just be sure not to crash the helicopter into the lake. The chemicals in the battery may pollute the water. So do not do it unless you guarantee yourself you wont have that thing fall into the water and pollute it.
Parking lots, sure you are allowed to. Just don't hit anyone's car. To be safe, try to find an empty one or one without too many cars.
Just keep in mind: Open space, not a lot of people, trees or powerlines, and you will be ok.
If you're just starting out, get the E-Flite Blade CX2 or CX3. Great helicopters.
Start with the internet. A straight up search will work for starters, then move on to finding clubs, orgs, etc. Post to message boards. Talk to the manufacturers of these products and find out how they distribute their goods. You will eventually find what you are looking for.
Good Luck.
yes, that is the one exception.
It depends on what your general interests are. I am studying to become an engineer, and love to work with my hands, to build things better and better. I got into R/C and it was right up my alley. I love it! In my opinion, the electric versions can be easier to maintain and run, but their nitro counterparts can be too if you learn how to tune them, etc. they always need to be re-tuned.
A good idea is to see if there is a local offroad r/c track near you. if there is, see if they have a slash class. this class is all skill, as you have to have the stock truck to race in it. It is a nice entry level. If they do, or if you just want to drive around and have fun at home, skateparks, etc. the Traxxas slash is a great first truck.

one neat thing with that truck that you cannot do with nitro is that it is 100% waterproof. I mean you can drop it in a swimming pool and drive around on the bottom. It also will not cost you another cent more than the day you get it(not including replacement AA batteries). This is alot nicer than the $30 a gallon nitro fuel and constant engine maintenance.
This is an awesome truck for the value, and is tons of fun. And if you end up not liking it, It normally resells for between $100 and $150 depending on the condition of it.
Zero but my son has 2 cars and 1 plane.
I'm sure you're talking about tether cars.
ebay, my friend, is the best place.
Each channel controls a certain function. For instance, a radio controlled car that is two channels will have one channel for the speed control and another for steering. A third channel would be used for forward and reverse. Each channel is operated by a gimbal, or stick on the transmitter. As the stick is moved, it sends a signal to the receiver in the car. A servo is plugged into the receiver. The servo converts the signal to mechanical motion.
A four channel remote control would normally be used to fly an R/C model airplane, one for throttle, one for elevator, one for rudder and one for ailerons.
Of course there are radios for up to 14 channels, used for such things as retractable landing gears, flaps, and so on.
In each case, the remote control consists of a transmitter and a receiver, both of which must be on the same radio frequency. In addition to that, there are certain numbered frequencies assigned for R/C cars and boats and a separate set of numbers for model airplanes. The reason for that is because if two of the same number frequencies are turned on, they will adversely effect each other causing an out of control crash.
I wouldn't recommend going to http://www.rctoys, their prices are a bit too high. You can find better prices else where. The most popular rc toys are those helicopters, especially those mini ones because those are almost unbreakable (I have one myself, and they are a lot of fun to play with and learn), they're pretty much perfect for little kids (8 and up) or beginnings. They recently just came out last year. You should look into the 2-channel ones, those are for beginners, and much more fun than those rc cars, if there is a lake, rc boats would be fun too. Try going to http://www.togostuff.com/2chhe.html, I got mine there, not wide selection but they got the most popular ones and shippment was fast.
